The short version

Most teams adopt AI by buying a tool first and asking the hard questions later. This audit flips that order. Use the 12 questions to score where you actually stand on data (3 questions), security (3), ops (3), and product (3). Each answer is 0-2 points; total possible 24. **0-8**: you're not ready. Fix the basics first. **9-16**: you're ready for a narrow, well-scoped pilot. **17-24**: you're ready for a real production rollout.
